Job Description

Novartis has several products on the market as well as an extensive pipeline in Rheumatology and Immunologic diseases. As a Medical Lead for Rheumatology in Denmark you have the full medical responsibility for the medical strategy and execution as well as budget within the area. In line with overall strategy for Rheumatology, the Medical Lead is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of Medical Affairs plan, providing scientific information, design and organize clinical studies, building educational dialogue with KOLs and regulatory stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Design and implement country medical affairs strategy in line with the global strategy, country insights and market conditions, and secure implementation of planned Medical Affairs activities within the designated therapy area(s).
• Medical/scientific input into the development and execution of clinical trial or clinical research related activities, including initiation and oversight of clinical studies/clinical research within the respective therapeutic area. Design and drive country strategy for Non Interventional Studies and Investigator Initiated Trial activities
• Review and approval of medical materials and locally developed promotional materials
• Ensure that medical insights are provided to cross-functional groups, including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory affairs, Market Access, QA, Commercial teams, Brand team and others
• Budget within the area

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• MD, PharmD, pharmacist, PhD and other life sciences with a solid medical and scientific background
• English and Danish: fluent spoken and written
• Experience from Health care and Pharma Industry is an advantage
