Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Contribute to building the TCO-C organization in accordance with the strategic vision for TCO in China.Review the TCO portfolio and provide medical input to identify and recommend programs appropriate for development in China
• Act as the China medical lead in global Early Program Teams (EPTs). May be involved in multiple global project teams. Ensure the operationalization of select TCO clinical trials in China in close collaboration with global TCO teams and the late development organization in China. Provide medical guidance and support to the TCO-C Clinical operations team
• Interact with the scientific and medical community to establish a qualified network of TCO first-in-human and proof-of-concept sites in China. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with PIs and KOLs who will be engaged long-term for advice and advocacy on the Novartis discovery and early development pipeline in China
• Partner closely with critical local line functions (e.g. DRA) to ensure that early phase studies meet China’s regulatory requirements
• Optimize the organization’s ability to have China join late development studies in real time based on the early development package
• May represent Novartis early oncology in China externally in interactions with the regulatory agency NMPA, with HGRAC and with other authorities and decision-making bodies as appropriate. Advocate continuous improvement of quality
• Ensure all activities of associates comply with company standards and local regulations
• Ensure adequate reporting of adverse events/technical complaints/compliance issues in accordance with company procedures. 100% timely delivery of all training requirements including compliance
