Reporting to the Executive Director of Master Data Management and Data Quality, this position will person will lead a team of highly capable individuals supporting master data management operations across all US divisions. The successful candidate will primarily focus on impacting business results through the execution of master data solutions across all US divisions. This position will have the primary ownership of customer, product, and payer master data and has the responsibility for end-to-end data management of business-critical data assets for the US organization.

What will you be responsible for?
• Build on strategy, vision, and roadmap for an evolving master data management service staying ahead of the needs of the customer
• Primary ownership of the customer, product, and payer master data, and the responsibility for end-to-end data management for business-critical needs of the US divisions
• Liaise with Franchises, Analytics teams, Field Force Operations, Reporting, Data Enablement, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity of business needs and how master data is consumed and utilized
• Clearly understand current business challenges and provide thought leadership in addressing them, while bringing the best of MDM expertise to the table
• Engage and partner with key stakeholders to align on priorities, ensure business requirements for Master Data are clearly defined, well documented, communicated, and understood
• Partnering with business and IT, establish policies, processes, standards, and drive governance to ensure optimal understanding of Customer/Payer/Product data assets
• Provide project and functional leadership and direction on multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high-quality level of service
• As a member of the MDM and DQ team, partner to attract, empower, retain and develop talent and build a culture of high performers
• Build and mentor talent and drive a continuous improvement mindset within the team

Minimum Requirements

What will you bring to the role?
• B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Business or other technical degrees. MS or MBA preferred
• 12 years of proven experience required in the pharmaceutical space, with minimum 6 years in data management and 3+ years in Master Data Management
• Proven leadership in the pharmaceutical and or/health tech industry
• Experience working with MDM technology (e.g., Informatica, Reltio), Data quality tools (e.g., IDQ), and managed implementation of MDM solutions in Life Sciences
• Understanding of CRM processes and integration with MDM as well as hands-on knowledge and experience with sources like OneKey, Open Data, SLN feeds, etc.
• Solid understanding of commercial and medical business processes and the impact of master data on those processes
• Minimum 5 years of project management and/or team leadership experience required
• Hands-on experience with data querying and analytic platforms, preferably SQL, Python or Alteryx
• Demonstrable ability to work in a matrixed organization, manage multiple projects, and be accountable for results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence others to act and drive collaborative projects to successful outcomes
• Effective project management skills, as demonstrated by on-time, on-budget project delivery.
