We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled scientist to join the Pharmacology group in NIBR Oncology. In this position, you will play a key role in advancing drug discovery projects, as well as identifying novel therapeutic targets and approaches to benefit cancer patients. This position will require excellent in vivo and in vitro technical abilities, a passion for data generation and analysis, a curiosity and eagerness for learning new things and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment.

Major Accountabilities

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop and characterize novel xenograft tumor models for oncology research.
• Execute in vivo PK/PD/efficacy assessment of small molecules and biologics.
• Perform flow cytometric and imaging (IVIS) analyses on tumor and tissue samples.
• Generate cell lines through standard molecular biology techniques and perform cell-based assays related to T cell and NK cells.
• Critically analyzing and presenting study results within a multidisciplinary team environment in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

Education
• BS/MS degree in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or a related field.

Experience
• Minimum 2+ years of industry or academic experience.
• Hands-on in vivo experience to execute pre-clinical studies.
• Experience with cell culture and cell line engineering.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills and critical problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to excellence, collaboration and learning.

Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge of cancer biology, cell signaling and immunology.
• Experience using IVIS to monitor tumor growth and metastasis.
• Experience with FACS based immunophenotyping.
• Ability to independently design and conduct experiments.

Languages
• Fluency in English required, both excellent oral and written communications skills.
