Job Description

Drive the Novartis Ethics, Risk & Compliance (ERC) program through driving the global Novartis ERC program which includes development and/or implementation of policies & procedures, risk assessment & management, global/local monitoring program, strategic training & communication.

Your Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the oversight of the implementation and effectiveness of the ERC programs.
• Provide business stakeholders with Ethics & Compliance advice and proactively be a strategic business partner.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with global/local business and cross-divisional peers.
• Lead development and implementation of training and communication strategies for en-tire organization. Training subjects include industry rules, internal compliance rules (Company Code of Ethics and Novartis P3 Policies etc.), FCPA and promotion guidelines.
• Plan and Execute ERC monitoring activities to identify potential deviations and devise mitigation strategies.
• Drive the Novartis risk Assessment/management process in order to identify and miti-gate significant business/compliance risks.
• Actively participate in global meetings and share key local best practices with different countries.
• Support the global audit team and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and recommendations.

With support from the Oncology ERC Head and in close coordination with the team members, enable and drive ethical business conduct through the effective implementation of the ERC pro-gram at Oncology Japan.

Minimum Requirements

What you will bring to the role:

Education/Experience:
• BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or a related field
• 5+ years' working experience in major company
• Experience in working for pharm company preferred

Language:
• Japanese, English(Speaking, Writing, Reading)
Competencies:
• Strong ethics and compliance mindset
• Strong ability to partner with businesses and functions with good communication skills
• Strong ability to manage projects
• Strategic thinking and strong ability to solve issues to best accomplish business objectives without compromising compliance
Technical / Functional Skills & Knowledge:
• Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
• Basic skill in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
