Medical Lead Improves patient access and outcomes in rare diseases in focus, by providing up-to-date compound and disease medical expertise, and engaging with an external and internal partners. The role builds and implements the local Medical strategy through evidence generation, educating internal and external stakeholders, and value co-creation with healthcare systems and the scientific community.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Development of in-depth knowledge and staying UpToDate in the allocated disease areas
• Building trustful relationships with key external stakeholders in the allocated therapeutic areas
• Driving the local Medical Affairs strategic plans in collaboration with other functions
• Support evidence generation activities and preparation of health technology submissions in collaboration with market access function
• Local execution of clinical development plans support
• Identifying data gaps, and generate local Real-World Evidence
• Government of the Managed Access Programs (MAP) at the local level, evaluation of Investigator-Initiated research studies and Trials (IITs) and Research Collaborations (RC) for scientific rigor and alignment
• Government of external funding (grant), advisory boards, HCP/ HCS engagements, and patient support programs

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• MD, MSc, PhD titles on Medical (preferred), Pharm, Biol. and other life sciences
• Leadership skills and experience
• Proficient English
• At least 2 years working experience within Healthcare institution, Local Health Authority, Healthcare NGO or Pharmaceutical industry (Medical role) in rare diseases
