Job Description

365 days a year, our global manufacturing and supply network works to ensure our patients have the treatments they need to live longer, healthier lives. This position will be responsible in supporting all activities within the assigned Quality department. Contributes to the implementation, maintenance, and execution of the assigned Quality and/ or Laboratory Systems in an effective and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities
• Provides technical and/ or administrative support to the Quality Organization
• Performs simple, routine, repetitive activities as directed by supervisor
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Laboratory Methods in an effective and compliant manner and provides assistance in the preparation of documents (e.g. reports, records, presentations)
• Sample management of drug products, excipients and APIs (printing of sample drawing instructions/labels, sample receiving and reconciliation)
• Inventory control for all the chemicals, solvents and consumables used in laboratories including asking quotation, raising shopping cart in E-shop system, arrange delivery schedule with vendor, receiving goods and recording of stock in respective logbooks or systems. Also ensures the respective safety data sheets, delivery order and certificate of analysis are filed properly.
• Liaise with internal requesters and external vendors to ensure sufficient supply of laboratory chemicals and consumables based on operation needs.
• Routinely check expiry of chemicals and solvent. Schedule chemical/solvent waste disposal with contactor and update NEA website accordingly.
• Perform day of use calibration of balances, performs raw material sampling and simple tests when required

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Equivalent in a pharmaceutically related subject. E.g., chemistry, pharmacy, pharmaceutical science
• 0-2 years laboratory experience within the Pharmaceutical or related industry
• Open for fresh graduates with relevant education background
• Lab Technician experience with similar background will be an added advantage
