60+! This is the number of Novartis manufacturing sites in 26 countries in the world. Being part of the NTO (Novartis Technical Operations) team you will be working in a very international team with a lot of global interaction and attractive tasks.

We are looking for an experienced Analytical Science & Technology Specialist to join our team in Beijing Site NTO. You may expect an open and friendly atmosphere as well as a high professional and inspired team.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Development, validation/verification/transfer activities and implementation of new methods and technologies for incoming materials includes DS/EX/PM and CV.
• Life-cycle management of analytical methods, including testing method improvements/ remediation, ensure on-going pharmacopoeia and regulation compliance.
• Implementation of GMP requirements. Compilation and review of documents (analytical validation/verification/transfer protocols and reports, gap assessment, TM comparison reports, registration documents)
• Cross-functional interface with Quality Control, Manufacturing Science & Technology, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Production and Regulatory Affairs by providing scientific analytical support to ensure the success of assigned tasks/projects.
• Support for investigation related to deviations, OOS/OOE and complaints on analytical topics
• Provides to Site the analytical science knowledge and expertise, as Subject Matter Expert (SME), to support site initiative in quality, compliance and efficiency continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Master degree with natural science/technical background (e.g. chemistry, pharmacy, biology) or equivalent education
• 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or analytical laboratory in GMP environment desirable
• Through knowledge of cGMP, ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements & risk management.
• Language: good writing in in English
• Good communication skills and team player
