Service Operations Manager, Novartis, Prague, Czech Republic

And with this role you will have an opportunity to support the global outreach, ensuring that the internally and externally sourced IT services in the area of Secure LAN Services (LAN, IPS, Firewalls) and especially Wireless LAN Services are aligned with business needs.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Design and implement processes and supporting system solutions within a moderately complex IT or business area. Analyze and refine requirements for delivering the necessary technology service to business
• Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications and testing & validation and support testing and training
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of a dedicated set of systems, tools or applications and ensure their stability, integrity and business continuity
• Understands the service including its components, processes, etc. and represents the service across the organization, manages and provides input concerning changes to it and serves as the key stakeholder in processes that enable or support the service.
• Ensures that the current and future service level requirements and operational level requirements are identified, understood and documented appropriately (in SLA, OLA, SLR documents).

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• 5 years proven management experience within a matrix organization and proficient English
• Proven track record in managing complex teams across different vendors, and in-depth expertise in one or more IT disciplines
• 5+ years of experience in Service Management of a global or regional service portfolio in similar areas as above, across geographies and business areas
• Experience in negotiating agreements with corporate suppliers in close co-operation with the sourcing function
• Track record in delivering multinational projects on time, quality, and budget. Preferred CCIE DC certification. ITIL certification required
