Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

ME Management and Medical Education
· Engage with Medical Experts (ME) to educate on medical/scientific information
providing valid and timely interpretation of medical data from medical research in assigned therapeutic area and identify appropriate communication strategy for external
and internal stakeholders. Proactively track and report in timely manner.
· Coordinate scientific meeting, symposia, congresses, Continuous Medical Education (CME) and other medical / scientific exchange and engagement activities which could bring additional value to the relevant therapy area; develop strategic engagement plan(s) for country customer-facing medical activities and events, and ensure timely execution of planned medical affairs activities in an efficient and compliant way.
· Provide speaker training to health care professionals to support the best use of new therapies developed by Novartis in alignment with P3 policies. May function as the Novartis medical speaker to present at Novartis/Society sponsored activities for up-to-date data based scientific and clinical information on Novartis

Execution of Strategy and Projects
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement the medical strategy
for assigned therapeutic areas by taking account of the latest country, regional and
global developments, reflecting relevant patient, scientific and clinical insights.
· Provide plan on health care systems environment and it changes, for preparation of clinical adoption of new therapeutic treatments when appropriate. Provide medical/scientific input into the development and execution of clinical trial or clinical research related activities, including initiation and oversight of clinical studies / clinical research within the respective therapeutic area. Support country strategy for
Non Interventional Studies/Investigator Initiated Trial activities. Work together with CPO Clinical Research Medical Advisor, to design, conduct and publish local CPO Phase IV studies to answer country relevant/scientific questions.

Insight and Information Management
· Ensure medical insights are provided to cross functional groups, including, but not restricted to: Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory affairs, Market Access, QA, Commercial teams, Brand team and others. Evaluate the impact of competitive information and share internally and externally as
post meeting deliverables. Respond to unsolicited requests from Medical Experts and other key stakeholders by sharing data on Novartis products. Provide and discuss scientific information and data regarding pipeline (when necessary) and new launched products to healthcare professionals to ensure quality
and accuracy of key medical and scientific information on new treatment options
· Keep up to date with key developments in own assigned therapeutic areas, including Novartis and competitor products and broader development. Ensure medical enquiries are responded to in a high quality, timely manner, and in accordance with applicable standards; establish standard response documents as
appropriate, for frequently asked questions.

· Work within any given legal framework, Novartis Ethics and Compliance policies and ensure
those around do the same. Work to ensure a diverse and inclusive environment, free from all forms of discriminations and
harassment. Responsible for risk identification and assessment, mitigation planning as well as implementation and monitoring of appropriate internal controls within the area of responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
· MD, PharmD, PHD, or science post-graduate with proven record of at least 5-years experiences in medical affairs
· Fluent in English and Cantonese (oral and written)
· Demonstrated capabilities for a field based medical role and proven competency at the Sr. MSL proficiency level.
· Proven ability to implement a medical strategy .Strong knowledge of the market preparation and access requirements, encompassing medical strategies and market trends.Strong knowledge of all aspects of drug development and the Novartis drug development
· Thorough understanding of internal / external ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical
industry. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation skiIls. Strong personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and a customer focus are necessary.
· Must be able to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment and to motivate a team to do the same. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional environment.
