The IDMT Program Manager provides project management expertise and operational support for complex disease medical teams. As a core member of the IDMT, the PM maintains accurate strategic plans, documentation, and resource forecasts. The PM supports the IDMT chair and works with all IDMT partners to promote efficient processes, ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the IDMT, resolve program issues, support the development of disease oriented strategic plans, coordinate input on team presentations / key documents (e.g. US IDAPS) and facilitate alignment across sub teams and line functions. The PM may provide support for special projects as needed.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supports IDMT with strong program management skills in the areas of planning, tracking, scenario-generation, contingency development, critical path analysis, and risk management.
• Keeps up to date on organizational changes and acts as strong supporter of organizational change; champions implementation of changes within IDMTs.
• Prepare for and facilitate regular US IDMT meetings (agendas, minutes, action items, progress tracking, status reporting, team membership updates) and ensure key documents are available to all partners (via uploads to the appropriate team knowledge management portals).
• Accountable for actively leading assigned internal cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of achievements in support of plan.
• Supporting US IDMT Lead in the development of US IDMT, US IDAPS plans, launch planning, and others as appropriate.
• Acts as point of contact and establishes appropriate channels to communicate projects progress and performance on a regular basis to internal and external partners Budget oversight, reporting out to team on a regular basis (YTD spend vs. Budget, budget reviews, budget planning) and partnering with finance to monitor the adherence to budgetary cycles. Supports the US IDMT Lead in cross-functional budget planning and closely partners with finance counterpart. Enables an enterprise view when planning resources and budget.
• Ensures execution of cross-functional project activities (e.g. launch readiness) and tracks progress versus integrated development planning.
• Ensure close collaboration with other US IDMT PMs to identify alignments and harmonize processes, build best practices, along with periodic review of processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Pro-actively drives development of annual objectives and continuously throughout the year ensures progress check of team goals achievements, keeps monthly progress dashboards.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific field required; Advanced degree preferred.
• ≥ 7years in industry with a proven record for managing and/or coordinating projects from start to completion.
• Proven record of accomplishments that demonstrate strong strategic project management, analytical and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrated track record of success and leadership skills working on multidisciplinary drug development teams in different phases of development in a complex matrix environment.
• Experience managing and forecasting budgets.
• Advanced user skills in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines and FDA regulations related to clinical research development.

Desirable requirements:

• Strong written, oral & presentation skills, with an ability to make professional and credible first impressions with internal and external customers.
• High degree of organizational, analytical, and team management and leadership skills.
• Ability to work on sophisticated, multi-faceted projects.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification desirable.
