Leads the development and implementation of effective strategic and tactical patient access management across the region. Aligns and implements an integrated portfolio Patient Access strategy aimed at market shaping, local access, and maximisation of patient access to enable portfolio CPO goals.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Development and delivery of an integrated Patient Access & Payer strategy (for the pharma portfolio, approx. 6 brands) aimed at delivering product differentiation most relevant to the payers across the region.
• Leadership that ensures the development of integrated local strategic account plans across the portfolio and all commercial functions, for the agreed strategic accounts across the region.
• Delivery of the strategic account shaping, access, and listing activities across the region through own activity, in addition to motivation and management of team:
o Strategic Account Leader delivery of 1 strategic account plan
o Management and leadership of team of Strategic Account Managers and Solutions Implementation Managers (up to 6 people)
• Delivery of the strategic account management team deliverables in line with the agreed portfolio plan.
o develops and maintains sustainable strategic relationships with c-suite customers across the strategic account
o accountable for local formulary access in strategic accounts
o accountable for account strategic insights and their implications to inform portfolio opportunities and the portfolio business annual plan for prelaunch and launch activities in addition to identifying opportunities that will maximise patient improved outcomes
o responsible for the alignment of Novartis solutions across the portfolio with key senior stakeholders’ plans
o accountable for gathering evidence and translating into intelligence to inform payer value propositions and pricing strategies
• Ownership for the strategic account CRM tool and KPI reporting across the team.

Please note this role is covering the North-East & Scotland region of the UK and will require travel within this region.
