Country P&O Head AAA

Over 1000 associates at 31 sites in 12 countries currently make up Advanced Accelerator Applications. This role is leading the P&O function in Italy.
Leading the local P&O team partnering with the Italian Leadership Teams to translate business plans into a Country P&O strategy. Responsible for managing P&O processes and achieving high standards of service delivery; to be a key influencer at all levels and likely to be involved in Global P&O projects for AAA.
Ensure people engagement, talent retention and proper succession planning.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategy & Planning
• Work closely with the GM and country leadership team in the development and implementation of the Business plan, highlighting potential P&O related business opportunities / weaknesses. Translate the Business plans into P&O strategic and operational plans for the country; monitor compliance and initiate corrective measures in case of deviations. Be active key member of local leadership team and proactively establish strong relationship with client group to understand their needs and requirements and challenges.
• Manage the development of strategic and tactical workforce planning ensuring optimal resources allocation.
• Lead P&O agenda through transformation and portfolio review. Lead change management efforts to support people and organization on key topics impacting growth of business
Drive attraction and retention plans for key talents necessary to achieve Business goals. Define country HR budget according to business needs, career development, and input from local managers and CFO.
• Provide counsel and strategic recommendations on the design and implementation of P&O services. Contribute to Group P&O initiatives and projects and lead the implementation at local level
• Support RLT and PET manufacturing (4) sites in Italy.

Monitoring & Control
• Ensure adherence to relevant labor and employment law and, when necessary, manage labor relations, including relations with external labor organizations.
• Ensure compliance with legal framework, SOX requirements, local work authorities, standards, etc.
• Ensure adoption and adherence to AAA P&O practices and policies.Define P&O KPIs against business plan and drive actions to ensure achievement.

People & Organization
• Lead the efficient implementation of P&O processes and programs in the country (i.e. Recruitment/ Selection, Rewards, Merit Increase Process, Performance Management, Talent Management, Organization Development...).
• Collaboration with global and local P&O teams. Manage team providing P&O services and people partnership on behalf of country (not integrated into NVS)
• Engage leaders in Talent Discussions and succession planning. Facilitate talent development discussion, identification of needs and training opportunities.
• Coach senior leadership team, and support them in their coaching and mentoring activities in their respective teams
• Drive cultural change and foster diversity and inclusion within the organization. Manage internal P&O related communications.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Education: University degree University degree either MBA, Psychology, Legal
• Languages: Local Language & English verbally and in writing
• Experience / Professional requirements: Graduate degree in business or management;
MBA and/or scientific degrees preferred HR professional specialization ideal
• Overall relevant HR experience of 5-8 years strong functional competence acquired in HR Generalist roles. 2 years’ experience in changing business environments
• Line management experience, ability to work in a matrix organization, experience with multi-cultural teams

Desirable requirements:
• Good understanding of the Healthcare industry desirable
• Experience in Industrial relations
