This role will have the opportunity to work in cutting edge parenteral formulations and innovation projects to support the development of patient centric drugs. This role will be an opportunity to bring transformational medicines to the market This role opportunity to work in exciting novel pharmaceutical products such has new modalities and radioligand therapies.

Major Activities:
• Plan, organize, perform and detail scientific experiments (e.g. preparation of small scale liquid formulations) and characterization of the formulations (e.g., pH, particle size, viscosity, etc…), under minimal guidance from more experienced team members.
• Execute formulation and process development activities in the area of parenteral and liquid formulations development with broader focus on conventional and enabling technology platforms.
• Document and review data in electronic lab notebook (ELN). Propose and provide input for the design of next experiments.
• Ensure overall compliance with regulatory & Novartis requirements, environmental health and safety.
• A Bachelor or Master in Pharmaceutical or Chemical Technology (preferably 2 or more years industrial experience) or Equivalent by experience in operational areas in relevant fields such as pharmaceutical or chemical development labs, most ideally in the field of parenteral and liquid dosage form development.

Minimum Requirements

Experience/Professional Requirements:
• Adequate knowledge in formulation and process development for parenteral and liquid dosage forms, i.e. technical expertise in laboratory manufacturing of conventional suspension/solution preparation, and/or enabling technologies (e.g., milling), most preferably experience in the area of novel parenteral formulation development (e.g., PLGA microparticles, Lipid nanoparticles, in situ gel formation).
• Proficient with laboratory and/or technical tools required to support formulation platforms mentioned in above point.
• Adequate knowledge of software and computer tools.
• Basic presentation skills and scientific/technical writing skills.
• Good Communication skills.
