Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Czech Republic

Contribute to the strategy development of the organization and ensure the execution within the function.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Provide proactive financial leadership for the local organization by developing analytical and financial insight for all important long and short-term decisions, including resource allocation outcomes and processes, organization investments, and external business partnerships
• Establish and manage local organization financial control processes, including quarterly and annual financial planning, goal setting, and target monitoring, as well as budgetary controls
• Manage all country relations with external auditors and stakeholders, and prepare organization for all relevant regulatory and tax audits
• Assists local management to achieve sound asset management, drives productivity, develops and trains financial staff and ensures that systems adequately support the business operations
• Prepares and reviews annual budgets and longer-term financial objectives for reasonableness and credibility, to review with treasury and tax the legal entities’ financial strategies referred to as the Finance/Tax Plan.
Prepares business plans as appropriate which will rationalize the use and exposure of Sandoz resources against the future prospects which will permit informed decisions regarding them by Established markets Management.
• Adheres to Sandoz corporate policies and procedures and ensure their consistent application. Is accountable for risk management, financial compliance and controls (Business Process Controls [BPC], Internal and External Audits).
• You will have a direct impact on the company's business.
• Leading teams of 6 directly reporting colleagues.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Minimum: 5-7 years of senior level proven experience in financial management with 3 years of supervisory experience
• Strong Analytical Skills - Business Planning and Controlling
• Leadership across the organization based on Role Expertise and Influencing skills
• Effective Communication of Complex Models and Scenarios
• English language experience required and fluent Czech
• Pharmaceutical/Medical device company experience preferred
• MS Office – advanced, SAP – advanced, other financial SW advantage, company SW as required
