Job Description

Position Purpose:
Support the Novartis Technical Operations Center– Supply Operations team in the coordination of various Supply Operations activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Regulatory requirements while creating value for our internal customers across all Novartis divisions across geographies.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:


• Market Access Program (MAP) :

1. Overall understanding of all forecasting models and Demand Planning Cycle along with practical knowledge. Effective management of supply planning. Good understanding of pharma operations and material planning, ability to breakdown operational activities to aid creation operation plans. Good understanding of advanced concepts like Warehousing, Distribution and Strategies for optimization.

2. Advanced Project Management, project planning and execution and tracking using project management tool (e.g. MS Project). Pharma product import- export, custom clearance and import license co-ordination. Basic understanding pharma products registration and labeling requirements. Manage new project set-up and maintenance with vendor.

3. Awareness of GxP, Support and ensure audit readiness for MAP.

4. Ability to evaluate the changes and design setup for life cycle event. Well versed with all the aspects of pharma supply chain. Understanding of various SAP transaction. Ability to read and interpret MM, PIR, SL, BOM & CMA, MRP, PO, SO etc. Advanced Excel knowledge with all formulas.

5. Execution of Global Cohort /PSDS Programs in coordination with Global MAP leads, ESP and carrying out labeling, packaging, Storage and distribution as per participating countries demand.

6. Prepare MAP supplies demand forecast and supply plan based on forecast provided by participating countries and share with GCS/NTO. Planning budget related activities RFQ, Quote, Proposal and SLA for Global Cohort/PSDS programs in coordination with MAP lead. Ensure archival of all MAP Global Cohort/PSDS Program related documents in GXP SharePoint as per defined nomenclature and timelines.

• Other Accountabilities:
1) Proactively report all deviations through timely escalations
2) Implement Continuous process improvement projects to enhance quality & productivity..


Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy/ Life Science/ Engineering/Commerce/Economics

• Minimum 8+ years of overall experience in the field of Supply Chain Management. PMP & LSS Certification preferred

• Competencies :
Project management skills, Supply Chain Management
Stakeholders Management, Inventory Management, Strong quality & compliance mindset, Strong communication/ collaboration skills. Action-oriented approach, Excellent analytical skills, Able to work successfully with multinational teams in a complex and rapidly changing business environment.
