AS&T Specialist (m/f/d), Quality Large Molecules, Drug Substance Schaftenau, Austria

>1 Tone! This the amount of API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) which is produced per year in the site Drug Substance Schaftenau. The AS&T team is responsible for handling all analytical topics for our commercial projects. In the role as Analytical Science and Technology Specialist (f/m/d), you will be part of the Equipment Qualification Team for QC labs actively contributing towards ensuring patient safety and supporting the supply of our medicine to the patients worldwide.

Your key responsibilities:

• Management of analytical instrument qualification - establishment of qualification documents, person of contact to the supplier, establishment of working instructions and SOPs for analytical equipment, e.g. for nucleic acid extractions, quantitative PCR cycler, HPLCs, freezers, microscopes
• Support set-up of new QC laboratory for testing of mammalian cell culture intermediates and products
• Understanding of relevant guidelines and GMP requirements
• Person of contact for support of QC laboratory equipment related questions from health authorities and analytical subject matter expert during inspections
• Cross-functional work with other departments, e.g. QC, QA Compliance and engineering

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• B.Sc/ M.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or Biotechnology
• Proficient in German & English (oral and written)
• Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry in an analytical position
• Good communication skills
• Independent working style
• Experience and technical understanding for analytical equipment, e.g. for nucleic acid extractions, quantitative PCR cycler, HPLCs, freezers, microscopes,

• Openness to teamwork
• Self-organization
• Interest to deepen knowledge on analytical equipment

For this position, the minimum salary is € 47.455,52/year (on a full time basis); part time is possible.
