Senior Learning OpEx Partner, Novartis, Prague, Czech Republic

250! Million dollars, the amount that Novartis invests each year in developing out Associates. The Senior Learning OpEx Partner collaborates with learning stakeholders to realize maximum return and strategic impact from our learning investments and key partnerships. In addition this Partner will ensure that the learning narrative, both qualitative and quantitative is accurately and actively communicated to key senior stakeholders and as part of human capital external submission to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) submissions.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Key Partnership Management:
• Maintain alignment with key internal learning product stakeholders, ensuring standards and requirements are defined and supported for organizational learning products between Novartis and external partners
• Drive ongoing / periodic performance formal review of learning partners in accordance with technical, operational, financial, content, and learning value criteria defined as outputs from Novartis key stakeholder alignments
• Establish and maintain controls and workflows for learning product integration and operation to include clear, formal process workflows, guidance documentation, RACI matrices, and tollgates for the future state of learning product onboarding, operation, and offboarding to include ongoing vendor performance management
• External Submissions:
• Support learning topics within Novartis Environment, Society, and Governance (ESG) submissions, including component activities around reporting, stakeholder narrative consolidation, submission drafts and alignment, and driving subordinate submissions (e.g. Dow Jones Sustainability Index)
• Provide learning input (qualitative and quantitative) to support key stakeholder external submissions in alignment with Reporting teams (approach, timing, controls & workflow, alignment of key inputs / stakeholders)
• Establish and maintain alignment with technical and reporting aligned with Learning Strategy and Innovation and P&O analytics teams

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelors degree essential, Masters or higher desirable, not required to be in Life Sciences
• Global leadership in leading diverse and complex programs and strategies ideally in technology and/or pharma industries
• Significant experience managing complex external partnership (vendor or other) at a level of maturity that delivers value & impact beyond the scope of work
• Experience with business case calculation and financial modelling, including application of benchmarking data and metrics
• Able to align senior stakeholders on priorities using data driven cost-benefit analysis
• Business mindset and able to quickly learn and understand the different business models and priorities
• Able to recognize opportunities for co-investment, co-operation and co-ownership; A strategic thinker with pragmatic, innovative and entrepreneurial approach and ability to manage and lead with ambiguity
• Leading, influencing and negotiating in often complex, cost and resource sensitive situations; fluent English (oral and written)

Desirable requirements:

• Experience in learning analytics and data driven design and decision making
• 3+ years’ experience of people management in a matrix organization and leading enterprise teams in a global organization
