The Data and Digital transformation team works across multiple enterprise innovations which may include testing new commercial models of engagement or the utilisation of AI to accelerate the patient journey.

The NGE Labs Lead role has been designed to conceive and deliver a pipeline of substantial commercial pilots, pioneering new channels and ways of working with Novartis customers while delivering immediate value to our franchises on some of our biggest challenges.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Work with franchise teams to understand key problems and the value of solving them
• Articulate creative new solutions, leveraging emerging innovation trends and tactics from Pharma and other industries
• Leadership of one direct report – the NGE Labs Digital Marketing Manager – as well as vendors or contract resources required to deliver on a solution
• Apply lean start-up principles to rapidly develop and launch solutions in market, and to refine the approach
• Manage stakeholders to plan and operate solutions, and to transition successful pilots to business owners

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Minimum 10 years business experience, with substantial experience in Digital Transformation or Innovation or Change roles
• Pharma commercial experience (including non-traditional channels) essential
• Strategic and visionary thinker
• Practical Agile / Lean Start-up experience in conceiving and developing new solutions from ideation through to proof-of-concept
• Data and evidence driven – can articulate both quantitative and learning objectives for new ideas and demonstrate outcomes
• An entrepreneurial mindset is essential: a track record of breaking new ground and taking ideas into action
• Inspiring leader and communicator who can also roll up sleeves and get things done
