As Quality Innovation Manager at Novartis, your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Implementing Digital Strategy for Global Quality through end-to-end Innovation process across all Quality function, focusing on digital innovation, act as a central point of contact and decision making body for innovation (innovation board), and be the link to business especially serving in the digital boards of business partners.
• Strengthen innovation culture in Quality through a network of innovation agents promoting and supporting digital innovation in Quality. Implement and govern the oversight and coordination of digital innovation projects, thereby ensuring avoidance of duplication and missed opportunities.
• Champion adoption of new, innovative & data-driven of digital innovation projects within Quality. Support and prepare business cases.
• Drive execution and expansion of Innovation Hub’s portfolio in collaboration with rest of the team e.g. QANTO, [email protected]
• Foster culture of innovation in Quality in close collaboration with OpEx teams
• Implementation of end-to-end Innovation Management Process for digital innovation, including review of ideation platform, pitching events, technology research
• Implementing governance structure (Quality Innovation Board) incl. alignment with existing bodies
• Developing and implementing Quality Value Propositions to guide Quality/Business interactions in innovation
• Identifying key projects and innovation opportunities, start and/or lead key projects
• Prepare funding requests (i.e. Innovation CARs - Capital Appropriation Requests) as necessary for piloting or other needs
• Drive and support alignment with IT strategy
• Serve and act as a key member in the business Digital Boards, where applicable

Minimum Requirements

- University degree or higher in Life Sciences / Engineering / Computer Sci-ences / Information Technology / Strategy & Management / Natural Sciences
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, emerging technology, innovation methodology is highly desirable
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages desirable
- 5+ years of experience delivering results in a matrix environment, within the pharmaceutical industry or in a major consulting firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Pharma industry with a proven understanding of role of Quality, GxP processes and requirements
- Technology competence and Innovation mindset to own and drive data and digital initiatives with good understanding of the potential areas in Quality that could benefit
- Energetic, self-organizing, self-directing, bold and entrepreneurial, curious to experiment
