Position Purpose:
To provide communications support, either globally for a business or communications area or for a geography

Major Accountabilities:
• Communicate clear Communication strategy and ensure that it is reflected in the part of the organization, in order to protect and enhance Novartis business and reputation.
• Manage the establishment, development and coordination of communication plans in line with strategic goals.
• Manage the implementation of Communication policies and processes to ensure consistency of Novartis brand position.
• Lead, coach and/or mentor a team of Communication associates. Allocate communication resources and personnel to meet business objectives and coordinate communication teams to ensure implementation of strategy/action plans.
• Build, monitor and evaluate the Function’s performance to achieve and maintain best-in-class performance, while being fully consistent with the evolving legal, regulatory and compliance environment
• Lead and own cross-functional communication including regional messaging and narrative – linking back to corporate mission and enterprise values
• Senior counsel management and lead all aspects of key stakeholder relationships to ensure consistency of NVS brand in all comms; Drive regional thought leadership
