Project Manager - IAM, Novartis, Prague, Czech Republic

15 Petabyte of data hosted, 49 countries supported, 15000 servers and thousands of devices to connect locations and businesses. And with this role you will be leading mid or big sized project (focused on IAM – Identity Access Management) within the Function by using of standard project management methods and tools.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead the development and implementation of a medium to big-size scope and complexity programs/projects. Provide project / program reporting including overall performance of the project / program and project completion documentation
•Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.
• Lead project team assigned (average size 5-15 team members). Handle all risks and issues for project delivery across all phases, responsible for budget/scope management across all project phases.
• Establish project plan and initiate project mobilization by confirming project capacity, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilities.
• Provide timely, clear, effective, concise communication to all project / program stakeholders, tailored to the needs of each stakeholder group according to a structured communications plan
• Handle outputs of a large project team (up to 6 directly and 20 indirectly), often across geographical boundaries, ensuring overall success of project and effective use of resources
• Ensure overall project / program success and effective use of resources. Regularly assesses whether project continues to meet business objectives and to use funds efficiently, ensuring that the project is managed to realize business benefits
• Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions and services. Define and execute change management and training initiatives and material

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• : 7+ years’ experience within IT function, preferably in security field and experience leading the projects
• Successfully and demonstrated experience of managing teams in a matrix organization across multiple geographic regions. Experience with multiple project delivery methodologies
• Validated capacity to respond to changes which impact projects, ability to deal with ambiguity and proactively resolve issues to deliver the best possible outcome
• Experience managing outsourced near-shore and / or off-shore teams across multiple locations, geographies and cultures preferred
• Proven track record as a leader in a global project management function covering 10-15 countries and proficient knowledge of English

Desirable requirements:
• Degree in administration, business administration on ICT preferable
• Prince2, PMP or equivalent PM certifications. Agile related certifications
