The Oncology Partnership & Solutions Manager (OPS) is an experienced customer relationship professional with sales and operational marketing responsibility (directly or indirectly) for ensuring customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets and promoting the brand to health care professionals (HCPs) for specific accounts within Oncology and Hematology. In this role, you will encompass specialist knowledge in the required therapeutic area and aim to build strong, long-term partnerships with HCPs and function as a single point of Novartis contact for in-license communication, steering the omni-channel communication mix towards them. The OPS is co-creating solutions with customers to improve patient outcomes, which are not exclusively, but including disease area projects, events or educational programs.
We are currently hiring two positions – one focusing on Breast cancer (Region: East incl. Ticino) and one on Hematology (Region: East).

Your Responsibilities:
• Develop deep and long-term relationships with HCPs, achieving a positive overall Novartis customer experience with HCPs by acquiring a thorough understanding and addressing key customer needs and requirements
• Accountable for achieving sales, productivity and performance targets within agreed budgets and timelines; monitor regional product performance and external environment using appropriate tools and taking corrective action if required to meet business objectives
• Develop customer development strategy, dedicated KAM action plans for assigned accounts, incl. aligning on account objectives and execution; lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans and give strategic input in terms of analysis, future potential and key programs required for the accounts.
• Identify, develop and deliver co-created solutions with HCPs that improve patient outcomes, not exclusively but including marketing projects, educational events on scientific advances, patient management and market access, patient support and pathway mapping.
• Understand communication preferences for key customers, develop, steer and implement omni-channel communication mix for respective brands with agreed HCPs, including the co-ordination of Novartis contacts for all in-license communication
• In support of the Brand Manager, responsible for execution, monitoring and analysis of the agreed national as well as regional tactics in order to ensure the growth of the brand(s)
• Lead the development of agreed promotional activities in line with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct guidelines as well as organize customer events and other programs independently or with marketing/medical department, in line with agreed business tactical plans
• Monitor and control agreed brand budgets, forecasts and expenses related to respective tactics to evaluate cost effectiveness and results.

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
• 3+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, marketing experience desirable
• Strong customer focus
• Ability to analyze customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance customer experience, paired with demonstrated agility and ability to adapt to change
• Proven ability to understand technical, scientific and medical information in order to build deep knowledge of a new relevant therapeutic area and product in a short time frame
• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken) – additionally at least intermediate Italian skills desirable for the breast cancer role
