Position Purpose:

Support the Novartis Technical Operations Center– Supply Operations team in the coordination of various Supply Operations activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Regulatory requirements while creating value for our internal customers across all Novartis divisions across geographies.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• MAP (Market Access Program) :
1. Basic understanding of Forecasting, Effective management of supply planning, ability to build and design operation plans and successful execution. Ability to evaluate the changes and design setup for life cycle event. Proficient with all the aspects of pharma supply chain. Good understanding of advanced concepts like Warehousing, Distribution and Strategies for optimization.
2. Understanding of various SAP transaction, Ability to read and interpret MM, PIR, SL, BOM & CMA, MRP, PO, SO etc... Advanced excel, Macros, Data Visualization, Lean six sigma - Project experience in identifying CI and driving its implementation
3. Advanced Project Management, project planning and execution and tracking using project management tool (e.g. MS Project). Manage new project set-up and maintenance with vendor
4. Pharma product import- export, custom clearance and import license co-ordination. Good understanding of pharma products registration and labeling requirements. Awareness of GxP.
5. Streamline warehousing & distribution processes for assigned projects, Prepare drug demand forecast and supply plan and generate drug shipment orders, Manage external vendors selection and operations
6. Define and deliver end-to-end value chain mapping aspects & drive the planning, implementation, and delivery of products to IIT/ CUP champions, includes labelling and packaging as well as destruction.
7. Define & deliver KPIs on supply performance, Identifies and resolves operational issues, clearly articulate potential recommendations/solutions to local or global managers/partners; manage number of escalations to global office.

• Common Accountabilities:
1. Proactively report all deviations through timely escalations.
2. Implement continuous process improvement projects to improve quality & productivity. Ensure that the service dashboard, order management framework & time sheet are always kept updated.
3. Regularly connect with customers & partners to collect feedback on support services, report deliverable status and continuously acquire process knowledge. Ensure Training on relevant procedures before taking up any GxP activities.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy/ Life Science/ Engineering/Commerce/Economics with minimum 10+ years of overall experience in the field of Supply Chain Management. PMP & LSS Certification preferred. (PMP & APICS Certification preferred).

• English – proficient; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

• Project management skills, Good to have experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics, Stakeholders Management.

• Demand planning and Forecasting, LSS, Strong quality & compliance attitude.

• Strong communication/ collaboration skills, Willing to take action approach, Excellent analytical skills.

• Able to work successfully with multinational teams in complex and rapidly changing business environment.
