Medical Science Liaison - northern and central Poland, Novartis

As Medical Science Liaison you will be responsible for scientifically engaging, collaborating and aligning with a broad range of external stakeholders to co-create value, address identified patient needs and ultimately change the practice of medicine for better patient access and outcomes. Therapeutic areas of your responsibility will be Rheumatology, Allergology and Dermatology.

Your key responsibilities:

• Be a strategic internal and external partner for stakeholders;
• Gather and leverage insights, launch excellence roadmaps;
• Launch integrated evidence generation plans, integrated product strategy and subsequently the medical strategy;
• Utilize knowledge of assigned therapeutic area and Novartis compounds;
• Identify data gaps, data generation opportunities, and key unmet needs and opportunities;
• Ensure appropriate identification and mapping of external stakeholders, aligned to the medical strategy, and in collaboration with other Novartis colleagues;
• Personalize and expand external stakeholder engagement beyond Healthcare Professionals;
• Support and contribute to innovative partnership models for shared ownership in transforming clinical practice.


Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role, essentials:

• Fluent in Polish - written and spoken; English at least Upper-Intermediate level
• Scientific education (e.g. medical, pharmaceutical, biology, biotechnology etc.) will be preferred;
• Previous experience in Rheumatology, Allergology or Dermatology will be an asset;
• Credibility and clarity of purpose in building and maintaining effective and collaborative relationships;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage time efficiently;
• Strong personal integrity reflected in all actions and behaviors;
• Ability to travel domestically (a minimum of 50% travel may be required).
