Process Expert (f/m/d) – full time / part time (60-100% time allocation), Schaftenau, Tyrol, Austria

10 million! That is the approximate number of cells of starting material to produce our biopharmaceutical products. Become a part of our Novartis team and help process this material, increase production and improve and extend patient lives around the world.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identification, initiation and coordination of improvement projects in the production environment
• Change control management
• Proactive stakeholder and project management of parallel projects
• Close collaboration with expert teams and store floor personnel to identify potential improvement & troubleshooting
• Lead detailed Root Cause Investigation process using investigation tools and methodology
• Participate to the writing of technical documents (i.e. risk analysis) defined in the projects
• Prepare, support and follow-up of Health authority and internal inspections and provide support to teams during technology transfer

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential:
• Education: University degree (MSc.) in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Process Engineering or equivalent degree
• Experience: at least 1 year of expertise in the pharmaceutical industry desirable preferably in a biopharmaceutical production unit
• Proficiency in English

Desirable requirements:
• Communicative level of German
• Communicative, team player, cross-functional & solution-oriented, presentation skills

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 47,455.52 / year (on a full time basis). We also offer a potential market oriented excess payment in line with your experience and qualifications.
