The Plant Engineer serves as the technical expert and project manager for all maintenance, repair, and utilities operations for the site, ensuring that the facility meets a very challenging production schedule and in a state of cGMP compliance.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities concerned with design, installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment and automated systems in the radiopharmaceutical production facility, including the productions operations, packaging, warehouse, laboratory, and physical plant.
• Establishes standards and policies for safe and compliant inspection, maintenance, and repair according to engineering principles and quality standards.
• Manages related outsourced activities and contracted maintenance.
• Ensures that new equipment is fully commissioned, qualified, and validated appropriately to meet established user requirements.
• Participate in the training and activities of the maintenance team to ensure they have the necessary technical skills and knowledge to complete tasks safely and correctly.
• Author and review Standard Operating Procedures that pertain to physical plant operations, engineering, and maintenance activities.
• As Subject Matter Expert, support any deviation, out-of-specification, and out-of-trend investigations that involve facilities or equipment.
