As Global ESO Artwork Process Owner (m/f/d) you will govern and continuously improve the ESO IM and SDZ artwork process and projects, to ensure effective use of resources and skills, focusing on leadership, guidance and expertise. You will ensure business continuity, perform process assessment, represent ESO in global strategic projects, identify opportunities for service provided by Global Operating Centers and Artwork Studios, provide customer / stake holder management expectations and support and collaborate in the roll out of the diverse service models for various ESO artwork departments/platforms, depending on the business needs.

Your key responsibilities:
• Accountability for implementing, maintaining and sustaining the process standards for Artwork within ESO IM and SDZ in close collaboration with other Novartis Technical Operations (NTO) or non NTO departments such as RA, NCQ, and country based functions as well as the Global Operating Centers and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), providing high quality, artwork expertise.
• Ensuring process harmonization and avoid drift in the artwork coordination and management in Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), working in collaboration with local and external artwork functions, NTO & CMOs packaging sites, Global Operating Centers and the relevant ESO teams.
• Managing and resolving issues and questions from the artwork network related to the operational implementation of global procedures, with a focus on ESO area, ensuring compliance and high service delivery.
• Supporting Head Global Artwork in all aspects of strategic alignment, continuous improvement, process reengineering, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and process governance.
• Leading and driving the update of artwork processes in response to regulatory changes and new business requirements to ensure continuous supply and full compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Leading and driving regular cross-functional process reviews to achieve continuous process improvement and harmonization through active process governance and establishing/monitoring against key metrics.
• Managing the artwork network in ESO, pro-actively identifying opportunities for best practice sharing and collaboration with a focus on CMOs.
• Responsible for build and roll-out processes for new or partly integrated business units.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Higher or business relevant education preferably in the area of quality, compliance, regulatory, artwork/packaging design or supply chain.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), further languages a plus.
• 5+ years experience with regulatory labelling management or artwork management within the pharmaceutical industry and in project management.
• Experience with working in global environment.
• Experience in work with third parties/Contract Manufacturing Organizations.
• Management experience of both direct management and matrix environments.
