Pharma China aspires to double the business to reach $4B in 2025!
Greater China Region presents complexity of environment, policies and competitions, to achieve the 4B ambition in 2025, it’s imperative to maximize the existing portfolio and accelerate new launches, as well as driving optimization in resource allocation. It requires a very seasoned and experience BPA/Finance Leader to act as trusted business partner with local and global teams

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• This role will include management of the total functional cost for Greater China as Region, working in strong partnership with Central and BU BPA Heads, PEC and CFO to drive best resource allocation.
• He/She will lead all resource allocation related Business Planning & Analysis (BPA) activities within the Region in strong collaboration with COE team providing insightful and value-added analysis.
• He/she will review new investment opportunities, offer advice to business to optimize business proposal.
• He/she will perform deep-dive analysis to understand, validate and challenge the cost planning of each BU/Function and identify opportunities to release/shift resources to more value adding investments.
• Reduce bureaucracy and add value and efficiency through automation, simplification and digital platforms and tools
• Embrace and contribute to the AI budget plan (1FP)
• Design and maintain early warning systems for COST tracking, ensuring accurate advance warning for all financial results.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor Degree in economics, business administration or related field
• 10+ years working experience in Finance; international experiences preferred
• Strong analytical skills and Trade-Off Analysis / Risks & Ops Management
• Genuine curiosity to probe the business stories behind financial data; business mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill; aligning people and resources; stakeholder Engagement
• Comfortable working in a matrix environment
• Business fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
