The Capability Building Head (CBH) is the strategic learning partner with Global Drug Development University (GDU). Through their deep knowledge and understanding of Learning and Development (L&D) in within Pharmaceutical Drug Development, the CBH will build the learning strategy/implementation plan, together with their team and business partners.

- Effectively establish, deepen, and sustain key relationships to understand business needs, priorities and performance gaps. Demonstrate an understanding of drug development processes, knowledge, and skills and then provide learning solutions.

- Build global strategic learning plan through consulting on capability needs. Collaborate with partners to define desired performance outcomes. Analyze requests and identify priorities aligned with strategic priorities.

- Lead the portfolio and team to conduct needs analysis, design/development, deploy and measurement across numerous programs. Assist team to prioritize, project manage, and ensure open communication

- Define required behaviors, skills, and knowledge needed by different roles and develop learning paths to support this.

- Determine data required to measure business impact and how data will be collected and analyzed for value and impact.

- Thoroughly understand and apply learning methodologies for solutions.

- Partner with functional HR teams to align L&D activities with the development and implementation of HR plans, programs, and tools.

- Directly responsible for driving stakeholder satisfaction by delivering the best customer experience, quality of learning solutions, and positive impact to the business.
