The Novartis Digital Marketing Operations team is looking for a highly engaged Web/Channel Tagging Manager who will shape future commercialization of brands for Novartis and help improve the lives of patients.

This opportunity is located at the Novartis East Hanover site, and will not have the ability to be located remotely.

What you will be responsible for?
Strategy: Advise individual project teams to drive setup of custom tagging for websites and mobile applications leveraging Google Analytics to ensure creation of outputs that answer specific business questions and KPIs.
Leadership: Stay up-to-date on the latest web tagging, metrics, & hosting solutions to drive best-in-class recommendations & advance capabilities. Engage as US Pharma lead on vendor relationships and platforms (web metrics, video hosting etc.) updates / requirements.
Tagging Management: GTM and Tealium website tagging process flow to ensure accurate QA and implementation of tags. Experience with GA360 Admin functions, solution design
Campaign Tracking: Support set up of campaign URLs using GA campaign URL builder/Claravine and provide campaign-tracking data based on brand's request.
Tagging & Taxonomy: Evolve Content, Channel and Web metadata and taxonomies. Work with Content (DAM) and Channel (Email/SMS Web) teams for building a global taxonomy and governance structure
Reporting: Contribute towards an overall digital dashboard creation as well as work with agency to create regular or ad hoc web performance reports and dashboards using Google analytics or Google data studio.
Best Practice Development: Build best practice documents & coordinate training sessions to support upskilling the broader team.

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or Masters preferred
• 2-5 years' experience working in digital analytics and/or web analytics area is required
• Defining brand campaign and media Key Performance Indicators and Metrics
• Understand GTM and Tealium Tag Management Solution and have implemented them
• Define Google Analytics 360 tagging design
• Perform Google Analytics 360 tagging Setup and Configuration for specified US Novartis Commercial Pharma HCP and Patient site experiences
• Establish and implement campaign tracking best practices using Novartis’ license and instance of 3rd party tool, Claravine
• Serve as a single point of contact for Google Analytics 360 or Google Tag Manager related questions
• Understanding of Google Cloud Console, API’s and Big Query for data export and import
• Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work quickly, efficiently and strategically with a wide range of internal departments.
• Administrative leadership skills - planning, organization, operational decision making and analysis
• Demonstrated business expertise and knowledge (business acumen) and the ability to consult internally and/or externally
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate and influence across a matrix organization
• Demonstrated experience in working with others to achieve organizational objectives including the ability to anticipate and adapt, own and or/work group tactics to support changing business needs.
• Strong organizational, analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated strong skills in oral and written communication, project management
