This is an excellent opportunity to support our platforms by designing and implementing AWS DevOps processes at scale!

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for leading E2E design, implementation and automation of CI/CD pipelines in AWS (OLTP).
• Define DevOps standards in collaboration with Architects and Developer Leads
• Collaborates with Architects and Engineering Leads (internal and external) to ensure both environment and tooling setup adheres to Novartis DevOps standards and best practices.
• Coordinate DevOps activities across multiple timezones, aligning priorities with Developer Leads and Program Plan.
• Reporting of DevOps status to senior business and IT stakeholders
• Supervise and contribute (SME) development of DevOps pipelines
• Supports troubleshooting and resolution of pipeline and deployment issues.
• Continually drive continuous improvements through the service and be responsible for the results

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in AWS DevOps engineering practices
• Professional background in Life Sciences, Salesforce, Veeva, Patient programmes, CRM projects or an equivalent area
• Good coordination/communication/management skills
• Strong experience with CI/CD, Devops and AGILE methodology
• Proven results setting up and managing the delivery CI/CD solutions for highly integrated products
• Deep knowledge of DevSecOps toolchain (GitLap/Git-based repos, SonarQube/static code testing, ChekMarx/static code analysis, Artifactory/Artifact repositories, Jenkins/automated deploy,…)
• Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies (IAM, Lambda, Cloudformation; Amplify and CDK are a strong plus) with particular focus on authorization model and segregation of duties
• Hands-on experience in scripting and programming
• Good Experience with container services (Docker, K8S, ECS/EKS or equivalent)
• Professional background in Life Sciences, Salesforce, Veeva, Patient programmes, CRM projects or an equivalent area
• Ability to work with others in a high paced, fluid, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
• Business proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Flexibility to work across multiple time zones supporting global teams

Desirable requirements:
• Confirmed track rack record in large, global, multi-team projects dealing with sophisticated process areas and business groups
