The Account Strategy and Planning team is responsible for supporting Payer/PBM and Channel (GPO, Institutional, and Specialty Pharmacy) customers and account managers with executing relevant Market Access and Contracting Strategies and developing the business case to support the contracting approach at each customer. (Role may be similar to Pricing or Deal Analytics roles in other organizations.) The Director of Account Strategy and Planning is responsible for leading a team of 4 Associate Directors and is a key member of launch leadership teams.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•People leader: Directing and supervising a team of 4 Associate Directors. Team is responsible for account-specific financial analysis and expertise. This includes building Business Cases and Financial Models that inform strategic decision making and segment opportunity.
•Co-creation with the Market Access Strategy and Marketing the development of contracting and pricing strategies and customer segmentation for both in-line products and new product launches.
•Collaborate with Insights & Analytics to track and analyse account financial performance and identify areas of opportunity for account teams. Provide critical inputs for Forecasting, Strat Plan, and Business plan and monitor performance by product, by account of gross to net/target achievement.
•Ensure compliance to Pricing procedures and Pricing Committee guidelines, including documentation of relevant approvals and reviews.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or health-related field. Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MD, PharmD, etc.) preferred

Minimum requirements:
•Strong people leadership skills to engage and develop a high performing team
•Collaboration mentality to influence effectively across the organization
•Deep customer knowledge across Payers, GPOs, Wholesaler, and Institutions.
•Effective communication skills and ability to synthesize complexities for executive presentations
•Strong analytical and financial skills, including an understanding of Government Pricing considerations
