Our Threat Hunting and Response Manager will manage delivery of global and/or local infrastructure services to specific business IT units. Point of contact for the business IT unit, to ensure local and/or global infrastructure services meet service levels and ensure smooth service delivery and operations. Partner with the business IT unit to understand future demand for infrastructure services.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead team that acts as primary point of contact for local and/or global infrastructure service for relevant IT function(s); collaborate with all Site Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth service operations and execution at site level.
• Coordinate communication for infrastructure relevant topics; monitor technical queries/issues/incidents and manage the escalations with appropriate operational groups and/or vendors.
• Ensure vendor service reviews for local infrastructure vendors are conducted.
• Ensure normal services are restored as quickly as possible and adverse impact on operations due to incidents in IT environment is minimized. Request and coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) if necessary.
• Partner with IT function(s) and CoEs to understand business areas/processes and future demand; ensure that IT Infrastructure demand is captured from IT function(s) and fed into Service Excellence teams.
• Support execution of local and/or global infrastructure projects and ensure hand-over into operational support. Ensure the introduction of new/modified infrastructure happens in a planned, controlled and timely manner to minimize disruption and maximize benefit for relevant IT function(s)
• The Threat Hunting and Response Manager will leverage a variety of tools and resources to proactively detect, investigate, and mitigate emerging and persistent threats impacting Novartis’ networks, systems, users, and applications.
• This role will involve coordination and communication with technical and nontechnical teams, including security leadership and business stakeholders. As an experienced skilled analyst, this role will also involve supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team of junior and senior analysts.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree in business/technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience
• Professional information security certification, such as CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 auditor / practitioner is preferred.
• Professional (information system) risk or audit certification such as CIA, CISA or CRISC is preferred
• 8+ years of experience in Incident Response / Computer Forensics / CSOC team / Threat Hunting or related fields
• Experienced IT administration with broad and in-depth technical, analytical and conceptual skills
• Experience in reporting to and communicating with senior level management (with and without IT background, with and without in depth risk management background) on incident response topics
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical industry and a good understanding and knowledge of business processes in a global pharmaceutical industry and experience with security incident monitoring and response related to medical devices
