Job Description

This role has a significant impact on forming and executing major Commercial initiatives in Hong Kong through shaping financial analysis that will serve as basis for top management decisions - impacting value creation.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Business partner for BU, lead annual budgeting & strategic planning, work together with BU and cross function, to maximize market potential, prioritize product portfolios, achieve launch excellence and explore innovative promotion model to enhance return of investment
• Business partner for medical, support head of medical to enhance spending efficiency in Phase IV investment
• Responsible for central consolidation, function cost and overseeing P&L to support division achieve profitability objective
• Lead finance project landing in HK, streamline process, enable investment transparency, upgrade local infrastructure, equip BPA with powerful tools to deliver analytics and maximize impact with agility of every $ invested.
• Perform impact assessment of new initiatives; lead the risks and ops and business cases approval process for fast execution
• Investment plan to win in new launch. Accelerate and Activate Pre-Launches with resourcing to prepare launches successfully. Contribute to the early launch plan execution to gain patients insights and prepare market shaping
• Optimizes resource allocation by proposing and implementing appropriate actions, utilizing a deep understanding of the business, external environment, customers and brand needs
• Compliance & Process simplification, enhance internal control, explore synergy, streamline and automate process with mainland COE team and digital solutions to unleash BPA power from daily operations and focus on driving impact

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Leadership: Problem solve, Plan, and execute minimally defined tasks assigned by Head of Finance; strong “roll up your sleeves” and can-do attitude
• Drive value: lead the analysis and identification of value drivers of key brands/initiatives utilizing deep knowledge of population-to-sales models, insights synthesis and market knowledge to guide commercial development and competitive actions.
• Business cases: key player in preparing and gaining approval for business cases from management. Manage risks and opportunities.
• Challenge budgets: leverage knowledge and data to constructively challenge and provide feedback on Unit proposals as required
• Promote and drive enterprise thinking leverage the matrix by close collaboration across BU, division and CPO.
• Lead productivity within the customers groups and partner with peer group to drive productivity across franchises carrying out spend category analyses.
• Drive process standardization and simplification to support insightful analyses and to ensure efficient ways of working
• Ensure financial discipline and drive compliance with NVS Policies and Procedures. Act as the conscience of the BU to lead a real compliance mindset

Desirable requirements:
• Degree in Finance / Economics / Professional Accountancy qualification. Proficient English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus.
• Minimal 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Controlling / Financial Accounting, Project Management. Well-developed business sense and business partnering.
