2021 is an exciting year for Novartis as we accelerate our growth in the digital space!

The Director, Product Management – Customer Engagement Solutions will be responsible for establishing product roadmap for futuristic field solutions driven by Data Science. You will be the single point of accountability to the rollout of product roadmaps, discussion with sales, marketing, operations, data and insights teams. As well as, drive Field engagement solutions including rep triggers, dynamic targeting solutions and other AI enabled rollouts. You will lead and collaborate with the cross functional team and deliver a product like solution for elevating field engagement including developing a robust set of features aligned to brand strategy and support next best action.


What you will be responsible for?
• Driving the “Next best action” engine implementation and integrating the solution with all other customer engagement initiatives
• Ensuring data science teams can deliver on the product feature set and provide external integrations when needed
• Lead and drive measurement, reporting and tracking of success across the portfolio in a scalable way and bring the organization along determining success
• Work collaboratively with operations, training, change management and franchise counter parts to bring an aligned understanding of the roll out
• Data and Analytical expert with astute sense to consistency and efficiency
• Create approaches to evaluating personalized approaches to recommendations to the field
• Expert in process and program manage with a strong understanding of data science techniques
• Bring energy and excitement about the solution with the field and create ownership with the sales leaders and driving adoption.
• Strong understanding of data science and its limitations to enhancing the features
• Strong external connections to keep a tab on the industry progress
• Strong working knowledge of Field Force, cross channel commercial execution, and sales operations
• Ability to partner/lead next best actions & triggers working sessions
• Experience in the development trigger based next best use case design
• Experience in shaping and leading product roadmaps and lifecycle management

Minimum Requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Role:
• Undergraduate degree in business, or STEM major required. Masters in Data Science, Computer Science preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of experience working on analytical projects, plus 10 years of Healthcare experience a plus
• Extensive experience using data to support business decisions
• Deep experience in one of the following areas: marketing and digital innovation analytics, sales analytics, Field enablement, Field program rollouts
• Demonstrated experience for building product like solutions, program management and implementation experience
• Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind
• Demonstrated leadership and expertise in managing a team, demonstrated leadership skills; decision maker, effective problem solver; strategic thinker.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations and communicate clearly
• Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines
• Excels at interacting with a diverse group of people, all levels of management, including senior leadership
• Change management and project management experience
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Literacy in one or more statistical modeling tools such as python, R, SAS or Alteryx desired
