As part of the technical development team for cell- and gene therapy projects, you will be responsible for the analysis and characterization of cell and gene therapy products in clinical development. Your main task will be the development and execution of methods for the determination of biological activity (potency), identity, titer and purity, as well as data evaluation and documentation. Besides various cell culture methods and readout technologies (e.g. FACS, virus titration assays, other cell-based assays, qPCR, ELISA), you may also contribute to the physico-chemical characterization of viral vector particles. You will be in close contact with QC labs for the transfer of analytical methods and be in charge of the technical organization of a laboratory, reporting to the team lead.

Minimum Requirements

University degree, apprenticeship or equivalent in biology/biochemistry with a strong background in protein analytics

Good knowledge of English is required; German is desirable

At least 3- 5 years of hands-on experience with analytics, e.g. FACS, virus titration assays, other cell-based assays, qPCR, ELISA. Experience in working with BL-2 viral products is desirable.
