As a Medical Science Liaison you will serve as an ambassador and an advocate for our company's science within the healthcare community. By virtue of their training, the MSL is well-positioned to discuss and provide scientific and therapeutic information to Health Care Professionals and Researchers (Medical and Scientific Leaders) viewed by their peers to be authorities in a therapeutic field.

Some of the main tasks include but are not limited to:
- Participating in medical education for healthcare professionals through local presentations at offices, investigator meetings, advisory boards, and other appropriate venues to enhance product knowledge.
- Collaborating with other teams to identify opportunities and needs that can be addressed via communication of scientific, medical, and health economic information.
- Managing research and educational activities at targeted institutions and practices with national opinion leaders and other decision makers.
- Serving as a point of contact for the field team. Leading compliance knowledge in the field team.
- Leading business critical projects, launch preparation activities, liaising with Patients associations in line with the medical strategy, and in collaboration/as per guidance of the Medical Lead
- Identifying, establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with national opinion leaders, investigators, institutions and professional societies strategic to appropriate product development and use.
- Supporting and managing opportunities for clinical research (both company-sponsored and investigator-sponsored) that are consistent with company objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Clinical/Science or Pharmacy degree (MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, MSc)

Language: Dutch and English

• Experience as an MSL or other in specialty care/hospitals/pharmacy
• Minimum 3-5 years MSL experience required
• Oncology experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to handle interactions with specialist physicians and opinion leaders
• Exceptional communication skills that include verbal, written and public presentations
• Ability to comprehend, adapt and interpret clinical and pre-clinical data
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks
• Collaboration and teamwork
• Commercial acumen to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders
• Decision-making, proactive problem-solving and accountability
• Ability to identify and facilitate development of external investigators
• Understanding organizational behavior, and academic and corporate culture
