Global Finance Master Data CMD Manager, Novartis, Prague, Czech Republic

30,000: The number of master data changes managed by GFMD Europe on a monthly basis

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensures all master data changes are executed within the system of record (e.g. SAP), ensuring creation and maintenance Customer master data (General Data, Company Code, Control credit area, Sales Area Data, including Bill to, Ship to, bank account, excluding Credit limit and risk category) and mass update as defined by the Novartis Finance Core.
• Serve as a SME for customer master data objects, their standards, policies and processes
• Manage a team of GFMD Customer Master Data specialist and senior specialist responsible for GFMD execution (e.g. change, amend, block) and maintain overall oversight over the execution of master data management operations, including active support in the resolution of day to day issues
• Ensure operation excellence of all Global Finance Master Data management activities in Prague GFMD Tower; across all countries, processes and data objects in scope
• Maintain overall oversight over the execution of master data management CMD operations, including active support in the resolution of day to day issues
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across master data management activities and act as the main contact for the business on projects, issues, performance, tooling, etc.
• Monitor and implement KPI’s for the data objects in scope, in line with the global GFMD data standards
• Provide IT technical requirements to secure tools and support services required to store, manage, present and dispose of data

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• 6+ years of relevant Master Data experience, with good functional exposure to O2C processes from a finance master data management perspective. R2R experience is a plus
• 6+ years of in-depth finance functional expertise with exposure to Master Data Management
• Proven track record in people management with strong experience in maximizing associate’s potential to sustain capabilities growth.
• Proven experience with stakeholder engagement based on One FRA principles
• Proven ability to foster collaboration within a team through leadership by example mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national organization
• Experience in project management and project implementation
• Experience in managing projects driving performance improvements
• Expertise in Proof of Concept on GFMD technologies in order demonstrate strategic process improvement value
