Job Description

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Develop /lead regional MSL medical strategies aligned with business priorities
collaborating cross functionally.
-Drive execution of local medical strategies by communicating objectives, providing
strategic guidance, ensuring execution of ME engagement plans, tracking performance,
managing MSL resources, recruiting talent, providing coaching/ development, collaborating
cross-functionally, and developing /participating in forums to share best practices /build
-Drive regional ME mapping; guides engagement strategies.
-Represent ME interests /needs /local strategic priorities with senior internal
stakeholders for product prioritization and budget decisions.
-Infuse ME insights into medical strategic plans.
-Strategically influence/collaborate with cross-functional global/region/country partners
to support medical strategy / tactics, clinical development, clinical trial placement
-Ensure MSL readiness/application of scientific knowledge.
-Ensure compliance with MSL related policies.

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

MD or PhD preferably with experience in Nuclear Medicine, Radiology or Medical Oncology. GI /prostate Cancer therapeutic experience preferred

Bilingual in English and French a plus

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine and or pharmaceutical industry.
• >5 years’ experience in leading, managing, directing, mentoring and developing talent of direct reports on a medical team.
• Strong understanding and experience of the Canadian medical system including federal, provincial and local nuances.
• Ability to create a positive cross functional collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of oncology clinical medicine, disease management and medical research in at least one therapeutic area
• Knowledge of clinical research procedures as well as ICH guideline, GCP and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and advanced presentation skills.
• Experienced in “change management” with the ability to adapt, prioritize, organize and inspire teams to embrace change.
• Proven record and ability to work remotely while ensuring a strong team dynamic
