Your Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Develop and implement comprehensive Patient Engagement strategy for relevant therapeutic area across the life cycle, covering between 2 to 3 disease areas, supporting Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMA)
• Establish and lead relationships with leading above-country patient organizations to craft external environment, collaborate on patient needs, and position Novartis successfully.
• Strategically collaborate cross-functionally to bring in critical patient insights to advise regional strategies and key decisions via ad boards, PIPs, consultation (branded/unbranded activities, early development programs)
• Drive implementation of regulatory and policy/access patient engagement strategies in disease areas for the region.
• Lead innovative ways to partnering with patient groups/forums, including advocacy and multi-stakeholder forums in areas of strategic alignment (POP, advocacy councils, conference dinners, patient conferences, multi-stakeholder summits)
• Lead, collaborate, and co-create with patient groups coordinated campaigns/initiatives to craft and execute unbranded programs around patient needs and drive leadership
• Provide counsel, guidance and collaborate on appropriate patient engagement activities across all functions – marketing, medical, market access, HEOR, early development, digital/innovation, at regional and in-country levels.


Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Ability to demonstrate high level of accountability
• Effective stakeholder relationship management – proven ability to build trust in stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills
• Enterprise attitude: champion the end-to-end approach
• Patient acumen and understanding of the patient drivers
• Understanding of health care system dynamics
• Business acumen and understanding of medicines lifecycle, a deep knowledge of clinical development (e.g.: Phase III/Phase IV/RWE)
