The Compliance Assurance and Reporting role in MCE is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate and complete aggregation and reporting of HCP transparency data from MCE systems to Novartis Transparency reporting teams in ERC. This role will work in conjunction with established Supplier Relationship Management for HCP programs with both our Concerto Certified Suppliers and Speaker Program Management partners. In addition, this position will work to develop proactive analytics to ensure continuous operational improvement in both audit activities and overall operations.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure compliance with transparency reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis of HCP ToV data managed by MCE
• Lead random sampling and audit activities to monitor HCP data to ensure accurate and timely data capture, with input to Supplier Management team on supplier performance, articulating findings as necessary to respective stakeholders
• Manage ACT portal incidents (ACT=Accurate, Complete, Timely) owned by Ethics & Compliance Team, ensuring Food and Beverage meal violations are timely closed and identify violations where applicable
• Manage Financial reconciliation and monitoring activities for HCP engagements, managing offshore Finance resources; manage data reconciliation and exception processes across MCE HCP systems, ensuring data correction and follow up
• Develop and manage Operational reporting and monitoring dashboards, proactively identifying data quality issues and operational KPIs, including the maintenance of supplier KPI dashboard in support of HCP meeting operations.
• Support audit requests (e.g. IRO, Internal Audit, etc.) for data and Operational Supporting, working across MCE and with MCE Suppliers
• Support the overall MCE organization in developing required dashboards and reporting, particularly across HCP engagements as Consultancy, Meeting and Congress attendees, working to establish insights in collaboration with MCE and our stakeholders

*The ideal location for this role is the East Hanover, NJ site but remote work may be possible (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. If associate is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to specific East Hanover, NJ site for periodic live meetings will be at the employee’s expense. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. This position will require 10% travel.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required; subject area in business or analytical related program is preferred
• 7+ years of direct work experience analyzing and interpreting data, per above required
• Experience in Finance and financial analysis (e.g. SAP) is desired
• Strong understanding of regulatory/compliance issues related to HCP/HCO spend, including experience/familiarity with governmental Pharma guidelines (OIG/State Law Reporting, etc.) required
• Strong project management experience, with an ability to prioritize and organize effectively, balancing multiple projects and priorities required
• Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SQL and analytic tools (e.g. Cognos)
• Familiarity/experience working with 3rd party medical education and logistic vendors, meetings management
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in a clear and straightforward manner
