Novartis continues to accelerate its growth in the digital world. As part of our continued growth we're hiring a Product Portfolio Manager - Scrum Master.
This is a critical role in the organization that has a significant impact managing an integrated portfolio of the Enterprise Content Supply Chain team across Novartis (IM, Sandoz and affiliates).

The position holder manages a portfolio of product and provides a long-term delivery and product effectiveness. He is an agile champion and helps the organization implement the agile methodology by developing agile teams and facilitating the organizational culture change necessary for sustained agile success.

You'll coach product owners, clearing obstacle and, establishing an environment where the team can be effective. Ultimately you will ensure our team's live by agile values and principles that allows us to implement meaningful change

Your Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Exhibiting Lean-Agile leadership
• Helping the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
• Establishing and facilitate agile ceremonies w/team
• Helping to coordinate inter-team cooperation and helping the team operate well on the train
• Guiding the team in establishing normalized estimates and helping the team understand how to estimate Features and Capabilities
• Helping the team build successful products with a VFQ attitude
• Driving strategic planning sessions and coordination
• Managing a portfolio of products, helping them to align to the company strategic priorities
• Analysing product performance, competitiveness, and trends, making sure metrics improvements

Minimum Requirements

What You'll Need:

• Strong product management skills, experienced at driving global multi-functional projects at Business Unit Level preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience with a demonstrated impact in an agile / product field
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, manage issues, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks.
• Demonstrable ability to drive, collaborate and operate across functions, cultures and geographies within in a complex matrix organization.
• Proven leadership ability, critical thinking and ability to influence without authority; demonstrated ability of being forward-thinking with smart-risk taking.
• Proficiency in English (oral & written)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in working in the Pharmaceutical industry is a plus
