Job Description

With 350 associates across 40 countries, Commercial IT is the backbone for Novartis launch excellence and commercial/medical execution. We deliver integrated IT Solutions and Services within an eco-system of partners. We are hiring, adding 30 new roles to our team based in the United States.

-Identify, design and implement processes within a functional area. Analyze and define
requirements for delivering technology services to IT or the business.

Major Accountabilities
-Design and implement processes and supporting system solutions within a highly complex IT
or business area.
-Analyze and refine requirements for delivering the necessary technology service to
-Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality
-Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility
-Develop comprehensive requirement specifications to determine the estimate of cost, time
and resources to deploy solutions and liaise with the service development team to suggest a
high level functional solution
-Develop project estimates and complete financial model (costs, savings, revenue
opportunities, investment horizon, etc.)
-Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or
major upgrades to existing services and that overall user experience is taken into account
in the design
-Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications
and testing & validation and support testing and training

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
3+ years of experience
Pharma experience a plus
Certified SCRUM master certified Commercial Sales process knowledge
Medical Science Liaison process knowledge
Financial process knowledge (Knowing how to manage a large scale project budget)
Stakeholder management expertise

The ideal location for this role is East Hanover, NJ but remote work may be possible (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. If associate is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to East Hanover, NJ for periodic live meetings will be at the employee’s expense. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.
