Job Description

The selected candidate will work in the development of new 18F PET radiopharmaceuticals (synthetic route, drug formulation, analytical methods, manufacturing scale-up) for pre-clinical and clinical studies.

This role will be based in Marseille.

You will manage all assigned project activities and apply scientific/technical expertise to address complex R&D issues for the preparation and timely delivery of 18F drug products (DP), processes and procedures, participate in team meetings and contribute to overall TRD strategies and goals.

Your responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

• Design, plan, perform and monitor all assigned project activities.
• Ensure quality, quantity and timelines in all assigned project activities.
• Contribute to optimization of:
- scientific / technical activities in assigned projects.
- processes within the own area of responsibilities.
• Proactively communicate key issues and any other critical topics in a timely manner to the appropriate management level and/or to any other relevant pro-ject team member(s).
• Actively participate in project teams. Fulfill all related tasks and responsibilities related to own discipline (18F drug product development).

Minimum Requirements

What you will bring to the role:

• Formation: Scientific background, good knowledge of synthetic (organic) chemistry and analytical chemistry, previous formation on radiochemistry is desirable.
• Minimum: MS or equivalent
• Desirable: Advanced degree in a scientific or relevant discipline (Ph.D. or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of English (oral and written). Desirable knowledge of site language.
