Job Description

You will build and execute business plans to achieve sales goals for key accounts within the assigned territories. To drive territory sales performance, market share and optimal resource utilization through building effective professional business relationships with customers that support delivery of business results in a specific therapeutic area

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Implementing and management of commercial programmes and agreements to maximise sales benefit within the assigned key accounts.
• Working within allocated budgets and company’s processes. Understanding and appropriate use of pricing and discount structures
• Identifying commercial threats and opportunities through market changes.
• Communicating implications and impact of commercial programmes to company’s stakeholders including sales personnel, supply chain, marketing and finance. Collaboration with stakeholders when making changes to programmes.
• Working closely with all key departments, specifically marketing, finance, and supply teams.
• Building effective and long-term relationships with key customers, internal and external organisations.
• Adhering to the company’s policies, procedures and ABPI Code of Practice.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Science first degree (min 2:1) and sales experience within the pharma sector
- ABPI qualified or willing to complete the qualification within a year from starting the post
- Experience selling to NHS secondary care
- Ability to learn and adapt to changes and new strategies
- Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
- Strong presentation skills and ability to present complex scientific data
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer’s needs
- Excellent listening and negotiating skills
- Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license.

Desirable requirements:

- Experience working in a pharmaceutical sector
