Job Description

Your key responsibilities:
• Identify and select global platforms and products that will support China Lotus Agenda
• For platforms and products that have local China implications like residency, privacy or even local relevance, identify alternative China specific platforms and products and define the product rollout plan for Lotus
• Work closely with PPDs to define detailed solution architecture for PPDs to deliver against Lotus roadmap
• Work closely with TIS and ISRM to ensure the strategies defined comply with ISRM standards and easily implemented by TIS
• Work closely with Enterprise Technical Architecture to establish connectivity strategy between China and rest of the world
• Work closely with Enterprise Data Architecture to define data transfer polices between China and rest of the world
• Establish key technology partnership with local players that will drive co-innovation with Novartis in China
• Ensure solutions developed strictly adheres to the Novartis platform strategies, Digital Code, data / technology principles and our API strategy for integration and track any exceptions with viable business justifications. Define retirement roadmap for legacy products and applications for China

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline. An advanced degree and related accreditations a plus.
• At least 10+ years IT experience in a highly qualified function including experience as technology & solution architect and application designer
• A proven track record in developing complex architectures and collaborating with high performing information technology global teams that are culturally diverse in matrix organizations.
• Experience of working effectively with multiple and complex projects in a matrix organization to deliver results with quality and on time within budget.
• Effective communications style with the ability influence local and global teams and increase the awareness of the value creation by architecture.
• Fluent English both verbal and written
