Job Description

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drive and support country medical affairs strategy in line with the global strategy, country insights and market conditions, and secure implementation of planned Medical Affairs activities within the designated therapy areas.
• Coordinate scientific meeting, symposia, congresses and other medical / scientific exchange and engagement activities which could bring additional value to the relevant therapy area; develop strategic engagement plan(s) for country Customer-facing medical activities and events, and ensure timely execution of planned medical affairs activities in an efficient and compliant way
• To drive development of strategy to ensure drive patient advocacy in pre and post launch period
• To support market reimbursement initiatives, Data Generating activities and early access programs.
• Provide Nominated Signatory Guidance and review on company driven initiatives and other projects and materials.
• Provide medical/scientific input into the development and execution of a clinical trial or clinical research related activities, including initiation and oversight of clinical studies / clinical research within the respective therapeutic area.
• Coordinate review and approval of medical materials and locally developed promotional materials; ensure medical materials provided from global or region for stakeholder engagement and events are tailored to local needs, and reviewed/approved per local/P3 guidelines
• Ensure medical insights are collected and acted upon by sharing them with cross functional groups, including, but not restricted to: Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory affairs, Market Access, QA, Commercial teams, Brand team and others
• Coordinate work of Medical Scientific Liaisons to ensure market preparation pre- and post-launch. Develop and maintain the support of KOLs and key external stakeholders.
• Responsible for risk identification and assessment, mitigation planning as well as implementation and monitoring of appropriate internal controls within the area of responsibilities

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Appropriate scientific/medical qualification (Pharmacist, PhD or GMC), ABPI qualified
• 2+ years’ experience in Medical Advisor role (preferably in Oncology). Relevant experience in medical affairs.
• Resilience, high levels of cross functional collaboration and an ability to work strategically and operationally
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects with short deadlines
• Understanding of legal and ethical issues related to promotion of new and existing products in the UK

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Excellent team player leading projects from planning to execution and termination.
