About the role
A critical Data & Digital position responsible for leading Novartis Oncology BU’s (Business Unit) Global Omnichannel team and worldwide function, driving the Omnichannel Engagement strategy and operations across franchises and channels within commercial and medical functions, reporting to the Global Head of Data & Digital Oncology.

This is your Chance to invent the engagement model of tomorrow by driving the strategic design, creation and implementation of customer-centric omnichannel engagement plans focusing on the channel marketing mix by customer segment, leveraging existing channels and developing new ones.

What You’ll Achieve
• Lead the Global Omnichannel Engagement team (Hematology, Solid Tumors, Medical, web / media, digital congress) who support the global Marketing/ Medical teams in planning their next generation omnichannel campaigns and leading their activation, while driving the development and roll-out of new enterprise channels, particularly in non-personal area incl. dynamic marketing
• Be the functional leader of the omnichannel teams in the top 10 markets (ex-US) and stimulate their development and coordination across the world. Design and lead multi-country project piloting the latest frontiers of personalized and automated marketing
• Closely collaborate with Global Franchises, the Content Supply Chain, IT and Regions to build more efficient and flexible personalized content production and distribution supply chain across channels, in line with the customer centric brand and disease strategies
• Hire, train, develop, and inspire team to deliver excellence in customer engagement and Omnichannel Marketing Program

Minimum requirements

What you'll need to be successful ?
• Bachelor’s required. MBA preferred
• 10+ years of digital marketing experience related to commercial and medical activities, including implementing and scaling digital solutions at scale globally and/or regionally
• Experience in driving digital global organizational change in large organizations with senior facing responsibilities, in pharmaceuticals; experiences from other industries e.g. FMCG or Finance considered a strong plus
• Ability to work effectively across geographies and cultures, build relationships, collaborate and influence within a complex matrix organization; at ease with uncertainty and ambiguity
• Demonstrated business impact of omnichannel initiatives, through organizational metrics, revenue, profit or spend optimization initiatives.
• Thought leadership in the omnichannel and digital marketing arena with a track record of innovation
• Proven people leadership and management skills
• Solid understanding of Global digital landscape, development processes and methodologies, demonstrated innovative mindset
• Inspirational, creative thinker who can bring forward long-term solutions to innovate around HCP and consumer engagement and technology solutions
• Customer-centric mentality and entrepreneurial spirit
