Job Purpose:
The Medical Scientific Expert (MSE) provides medical and scientific leadership in brand and product team, executes the Medical Affairs strategy in alignment with the World-Wide Medical Affairs Team. The MSE is also the contact person for MSL queries and associated activities. Accountabilities involve such as (but not limited to) planning and execution of medical affairs activities aligned with timelines, budget and quality/compliance requirements as well as influencing other franchise members to support MSE Head/group manager (GM) to achieve medical transformation.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead the Medical Strategic Planning, implementation, execution and assessment collaborated with cross-functional teams
• Lead planning, implementation and follow-up of event activities including process management
• Support MSL to respond unsolicited requests and escalated inquiries and ensure providing appropriate response in collaboration with Japan Brand Medical Director (JBMD) and Therapeutic Area Specialists (TAS)
• Drive data generation with ensuring its quality in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate internal cross functional and divisional meetings if delegated by the core members (Medical Franchise (MF) head, TAS/JBMD, MSE GM) and engage with external stakeholders (e.g. advisory board meeting) in collaboration with JBMD and TAS
• Conduct slide review and promotional material review with high standard of science
• Ensure understanding of medical strategy and support TAS to educate TA-specific knowledge to Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
• Ensure relevant processes and compliance procedures e.g. IIT processes, P3 policy, P3 functional guidance for Medical Field Interactions are always followed
• Ensure adequate reporting of adverse events / technical complaint / compliance issue in accordance with company procedures
